In 2008, the first Biological Verification Lab was set up in CPMMR. The lab consists of a cell experiment room, several large-scale instruments (Laser scanning confocal microscopy, Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR), and other small devices including centrifuge, shaker, electrophoresis apparatus, PCR, ultra cold storage freezer and experimental refrigerator. All the instruments have been installed, debugged, and put into operation. Previously, we’ve predicted 104 pairs of related proteins in different stages of hepatitis B-related hepatocellular carcinoma by mass spectrometry-based proteomics and big data analysis. The next step is to validate the protein interactions through biochemical immunoprecipitation. By the end of December 2018, establishment of the validation system and verification of 24 pairs of protein interactions have been completed. Currently, there’s 1 paper in revision of Cell Discovery, and 2 manuscripts in preparation.
